The Immaculate Conception Legacy Society Annual Mass and Luncheon with Bishop Boyea
Each year, The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Lansing is blessed to gather with the members of our Immaculate Conception Legacy Society—faithful individuals and families who have remembered the Church in their estate plans and, through their generosity, continue to build a lasting future for our parishes, schools, and ministries.
On December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we once again came together for an afternoon filled with gratitude, prayer, and fellowship. This annual celebration is a new tradition, and it was a joy to welcome so many of our Legacy Society members, along with new friends joining us for the first time.

A Joyful Eucharistic Celebration
Our day began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Bishop Earl Boyea at St. Mary Cathedral which is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception.
The Mass was offered in thanksgiving for our Immaculate Conception Legacy Society members, whose planned gifts reflect a joyful and intentional response to God’s call to build up His Kingdom here in the Diocese of Lansing.

A Day Filled with Thanksgiving and Fellowship
Following Mass, Legacy Society members gathered for a beautiful lunch and celebration. Bishop Boyea greeted each guest personally, sharing stories, laughter, and heart felt appreciation for their commitment to the future of the Church.
The atmosphere was warm, joyful, and full of hope—an inspiring reminder of how God works through the generosity of His people.
